October means Coming Out Day! Join Belong: Fox Valley for a celebration of community on Sunday, October 12 from 6-9 p.m. at Geneva Winery’s Batavia location.
Take the first hour to socialize, make a pride button or pride flag sand art, and enjoy the company of community. We will also have our River the fox pins and Belong yard signs available to purchase.
Starting at 7 p.m., we'll kick off our Coming Out Day storytelling. No need to sign up, simply tell your story if you’re moved to do so. The Belong Board will share some of our Coming Out memories to get us started.
Whether it’s your first time coming out to family, deciding whether to come out at work, or the first time you accepted yourself as an LGBTQIA+ person, we would love to hear your story and show our support for your journey. Can't wait to see you…
